VERD S.A., a company of the Motor Oil Group, is active in the production and marketing of biofuels, playing an important role in the Group’s wider strategy for renewable fuels, circular economy, and energy transition. The company operates a biodiesel production plant in Volos, with an annual production capacity of 80,000 tons, transforming waste oils and renewable feedstocks into lower-footprint fuel solutions.

For this project, SENERQON was assigned to support VERD’s industrial operations through targeted energy-saving interventions. In a production environment connected to sustainable fuels and circular economy practices, energy efficiency is directly linked to both operational performance and environmental responsibility.

SENERQON’s approach focuses on identifying measurable energy-saving opportunities within the facility’s electromechanical infrastructure, while respecting the demanding requirements of industrial production, reliability, and process continuity. Through a scientific assessment and customized engineering methodology, the project aims to reduce energy consumption, improve efficiency, and further support VERD’s role in the development of more sustainable industrial energy practices.
