The project at Wabtec was concluded in late October of 2020 at the premises of their Coshocton, Ohio facility. The engineering study discovered dangerous levels of current and voltage harmonics which were causing major power losses in the electrical installation. Upon the completion of the project, significant energy savings were achieved at 9.66% of total electricity consumption.
