SENERQON is proud to announce the progression to Phase 2 of our ongoing Electricity Savings & Electrical Installation Performance Optimization Project for Bridgnorth Aluminium Ltd., one of the United Kingdom’s most established aluminium manufacturing companies.
About the Collaboration
With a legacy of over 80 years, Bridgnorth Aluminium is the UK’s leading producer of flat rolled aluminium coils — and the only fully integrated facility managing all stages of production on one site, including casting, rolling, heat treatment, slitting, and finishing.
As part of SENERQON’s mission to support global industrial leaders in achieving measurable energy efficiency, this collaboration focuses on improving power quality, reducing electrical losses, and optimizing system performance across critical infrastructure.
The Role of Scientific Measurements
This week, SENERQON’s engineering team began performing detailed on-site scientific measurements within the facility.These include high-precision recordings of:
Voltage and current harmonics
Power factor (DPF) and frequency stability
Thermal and reactive power losses
Neutral currents and phase unbalances
Transient phenomena from large load operations
This dataset will serve as the foundation for AI-driven simulations and Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis — advanced techniques used to identify the exact sources of inefficiency within the electrical installation.
Through these methods, SENERQON can create a precise digital twin of the system, simulate operational conditions, and design customized interventions that deliver guaranteed, verifiable improvements in energy efficiency and reliability.
